Beginner Yoga Series

This class is taught by:

Carol Walker-Morin

Carol Walker, RYT-500, has been teaching yoga in the seacoast area of NH since 2010. Originally trained in the Kripalu tradition, Carol brings a compassionate approach to her yoga classes and to life. Through her personal practice, she is continually inspired by yoga's many gifts; clarity, balance, self-acceptance, strength, flexibility and slowing the pace of life to name a few. Through her teaching she is continually amazed at the transformational effects yoga has on her students. Witnessing transformation, growth, healing, confidence and increased awareness are the greatest gifts from her teaching. In addition to practicing and teaching yoga, Carol is an artist and proud mom to her twin children, now all grown up! Beside's yoga, Carol's other passions are food, music, being in nature, and exploring the ever-expanding possibilities life has to offer with her partner Desmond. Carol recently became certified to practice Yoga Therapy through YogaLife Institute in June 2015 and looks forward to sharing yoga in this new capacity. Carol's classes are an eclectic blend of breath-work, movement, postures and relaxation. A slow-flow approach is merged with humor, patience and compassion. Drawing inspiration from yogic philosophy, nature, music and poetry, Carol hopes to share that inspiration with students of all abilities. Classes range from gentle to moderate to energizing with props and modifications offered to accommodate the needs of every student. “Yoga is the flame that sparks a fire in the heart!”
